Process and maintenance chemicals that do not fit other categories: fuel additives and biocides, heat transfer and dielectric fluids, antifreeze and coolants, de-icing fluids, mould release agents, laboratory and process chemicals, leak detectors, and rubber bonding resins. Brands include Biobor (fuel biocides and additives), Amino (phenolic and resorcinol resins), Diphyl (heat transfer fluids), Glysantin and Miller-Stephenson; MABAYCO is an authorised distributor for Biobor, Amino and Diphyl. Microbial contamination in aviation fuel can cause tank corrosion and filter blockage; biocides are used at approved dosage and according to maintenance documentation. For industrial products, selection depends on operating temperature and process conditions.
