Molykote M 77 is a solid paste lubricant well suited for low to medium loads and low speed lubrication points exposed to water and extreme temperatures. This special lubricant is compatible with most types of plastics and elastomers while providing good water resistance and good evaporation properties. The product provides paste lubrication up to 230 degrees and dry lubrication up to 450 degrees Celsius. It is also suitable for the lubrication of parts that are not resistant to mineral oil.

Molykote M 77 Solid Lubricant Putty is successfully used in metal / metal combinations with friction surfaces such as brake pistons and brake anchor plates of disc brakes. The composition of M-77 includes polyphenylmethyl siloxane oil, lithium soap and molybdenum. The color of this material is black-gray paste and its base oil viscosity at 25 degrees Celsius is 125 mm² / s.
