It has a paste consistency that turns into a tough, flexible and durable silicone rubber when exposed to moisture in the air. Since Silastomer ® 333 does not flow as much as its own weight, it can be applied to vertical, horizontal and overhead joints without sagging or flowing. It will adhere to clean metals, glass, most wood types, silicone resin, vulcanized silicone rubber, natural and synthetic fibers, ceramics, most plastics and painted surfaces. Silastomer ®333 provides excellent resistance to moisture, weathering, vibration, ozone and extreme temperatures. It can be applied at surface temperatures between 0 ° F and 120 ° F without loss of performance. Fully cured Silastomer ® 333 can last for a long time at temperatures up to 400 ° F.
