LOCTITE® 263™ is designed for permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners, the product is cured when sealed in the absence of air between tight metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration LOCTITE® 263™ is particularly suitable for heavy duty applications such as studs to engine housings, nuts to studs, pump housings and other fasteners where high strength is required LOCTITE® 263™ provides robust curing performance. Not only on active metals (e.g. brass, copper) but also on passive surfaces such as stainless steel and plating surfaces, the product offers high temperature performance and oil tolerance. It tolerates minor surface contamination as a cutting, lubricating, anti-corrosion and protection fluid.
