Returns and Exchange Policy

1. Scope

These terms govern returns and exchanges of products sold by MABAYCO Endüstriyel Ürünler Ltd. Şti. ("MABAYCO") through www.mabayco.com. Purchases made as a consumer are subject to Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation; purchases made for commercial or professional purposes (merchants and legal entities) are subject to Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 and the terms stated in the quotation and order confirmation.

2. Right of withdrawal for consumers

  • Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) days of delivery of the product to them or to a third party they designate, without giving any reason and without paying any penalty.
  • Notice of withdrawal must be sent within this period by email to hello@mabayco.com or in writing to the address below.
  • The consumer must return the product together with its invoice to MABAYCO within 10 (ten) days of sending the notice of withdrawal.
  • MABAYCO will refund all amounts collected, including any delivery charges, within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving the notice of withdrawal, using the original payment method and without any charge to the consumer.
  • Where the product is returned through the carrier designated by MABAYCO, no return shipping cost is charged to the consumer.
  • The consumer is not liable for changes or deterioration resulting from use of the product during the withdrawal period in accordance with its operation, technical specifications and instructions for use.

3. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

Under Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products prepared to the buyer's specifications or personal needs, specially procured or modified (e.g. special orders, custom colours or pack sizes)
  • Products that deteriorate rapidly or may pass their expiry date
  • Products whose protective elements such as packaging, tape, seal or package have been opened after delivery and which are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons
  • Products which, after delivery, are by their nature inseparably mixed with other items

4. Inspection on delivery

Please inspect any package you believe was damaged in transit in the presence of the carrier's representative. If there is damage, have the carrier record it in a damage report and notify us the same day at hello@mabayco.com.

5. Defective products

  • For consumer purchases, the remedies for defective products may be exercised under Article 11 of Law No. 6502.
  • For commercial purchases, under Article 23 of the Turkish Commercial Code, apparent defects must be notified in writing within 2 (two) days of delivery, and non-apparent defects within 8 (eight) days of delivery following inspection of the product. Defects that could not be discovered by inspection must be notified immediately upon discovery.
  • To report a defect, contact hello@mabayco.com with the order number, product name, batch/lot number and photographs where available.

6. Returns on commercial purchases

There is no right of withdrawal for purchases made for commercial or professional purposes. Return or exchange requests other than for defects are subject to MABAYCO's written approval; approved returns must be unopened, in their original packaging and in resaleable condition, and shipping costs are borne by the buyer.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds are made using the original payment method. The time it takes for a card refund to appear on your account depends on your bank; for instalment purchases, your bank may credit the refund in instalments.
