("MABAYCO") explains in this policy how we process the personal data of visitors to www.mabayco.com and of our customers. 1. Personal data we process

  • Identity and contact details: name, job title, company name, email, phone and address (via registration, quotation, order and contact forms)
  • Customer transaction data: order, quotation, invoice and delivery records
  • Transaction security and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, cookie data and pages visited

2. Purposes and legal grounds

  • Managing registration, quotation and order processes, delivering and invoicing products: conclusion and performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c))
  • Complying with tax, commercial and other legal obligations and responding to requests from competent authorities: legal obligation (Art. 5(2)(ç))
  • Responding to your requests and questions, managing customer relations, and securing and improving the website: legitimate interest (Art. 5(2)(f))
  • Use of non-essential (analytics and marketing) cookies: your explicit consent (Art. 5(1))

Commercial electronic messages are sent in accordance with Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and related legislation; you may opt out at any time.

3. Transfer of personal data

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to shipping and logistics companies, payment institutions and banks, IT and hosting service providers, our accountants and legal advisers, our suppliers and, upon request, competent public authorities. Transfers to service providers located abroad (e.g. web analytics) are carried out in accordance with the conditions of Article 9 KVKK.

4. Retention

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the statutory retention periods set out in the relevant legislation (e.g. 10 years for commercial records under the Turkish Commercial Code); at the end of these periods it is erased, destroyed or anonymised.

5. Security

We take the technical and organisational measures required under Article 12 KVKK to prevent unlawful processing of and access to your personal data and to safeguard it.

6. Your rights

The methods for exercising your rights under Article 11 KVKK (including access, rectification, erasure, objection and compensation) are described in our Privacy Notice. If your application is rejected, you find the response insufficient or no response is given in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board under Article 14 KVKK.
