LOCTITE® 574™ gaskets seal joint connections between rigid metal faces and flanges. The product cures when trapped in the absence of air between tight-fitting metal faces. Provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly of the flange. Typically used as a gasket in place on rigid flanged connections, e.g. transmission and engine housings etc. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE® 574™ reduces migration of the liquid product after application to the substrate.
