Use on aircraft and metal surfaces
A dry film lubricant
Features:
- A fluorocarbon telomer that is chemically similar to the PTFE-fluorocarbon resin
- Due to its chemical inertness and ability to withstand temperatures from the cryogenic range up to 240°F (116°C), ZC-440 finds many uses throughout the aircraft
- Designed primarily for use as a dry film lubricant or mold release
- Withstands temperatures from cryogenic to 500°F (260°C) continuously
- Does not run or stain and is excellent for wood, plastic, rubber, paper, and metal
- Lubricates metal surfaces and prevents corrosion on them
- Non-conductive and chemically inert in use
- Non-flammable
- Provides excellent anti-stick properties
- Effective release agent for epoxies, polyurethanes, etc
- Provides highest adhesion to the substrate while providing a good release or lubricating properties
- Provides lubrication without the build-up of debris from greases and oils
