Dow Corning® 4 is a smooth, silicone grease-like material that contains an inert silica filler in combination with selected polydimethyl silicone fluids. It has excellent dielectric properties and is also highly water repellent. It can be used as filling or coating in electronic devices to exclude moisture under humid conditions or to prevent electronic leakage. It is also very convenient to use as a lubricant when working with wiring.
