ROYCO 1MS is an anti-seize thread compound of micro-fine molybdenum disulfide and technical grade petrolatum.
Features:
- Molybdenum disulfide per SAE-AMS-M-7866 and petrolatum per VV-P-236
- Electrically conductive, non-abrasive and highly shear stable
- Relatively low volatility
Applications:
- Aircraft engine spark plugs, threaded fasteners and fittings operating below 427°C (800°F)
- Not for oxygen systems or use as a sealing compound; risk of hot corrosion above 538°C
