Cutting & Industrial Oils
Oils for machining, drilling, tapping and general industrial maintenance: cutting fluids and pastes, chain oils, belt dressings and food-grade lubricants. Brands include Rocol, LPS (including Tapmatic), Shell, Boelube and Drilube. The metal being machined (aluminium, stainless steel, titanium), the operation and post-machining cleaning requirements drive the choice. Boelube is widely used in aerospace drilling and rivet hole preparation. TDS and SDS are on each product page.

Which oil is used for drilling and tapping?
It depends on the metal; ranges such as LPS Tapmatic have grades for aluminium, steel and difficult-to-machine metals. For aerospace parts, ease of post-machining cleaning also matters.
What is a food-grade lubricant?
NSF H1 registered lubricants can be used on equipment where incidental food contact is possible. Registration details are in the product documents.
