PPG JC5A is a one-part, non-curing, corrosion inhibitive jointing compound. It is supplied as a ready-to-use paste and requires no mixing.
It is applied to removable fasteners and assemblies to prevent moisture ingress and to protect against galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. The compound remains non-curing in service and is resistant to aviation fuels, including jet fuel and aviation gasoline (avgas).
