ULTRA Tef-Gel is a PTFE-based anti-seize and corrosion-prevention paste for threaded fasteners and dissimilar metal interfaces.
Features:
- Contains 40% PTFE powder and 0% volatile solvents; no silicones or petroleum solvents
- Blocks electrolyte entry to prevent dissimilar metal corrosion
- Prevents galling and friction welding on stainless steel, Inconel and nickel alloys
- Does not evaporate, cold flow or dry out
- Does not electrically insulate hardware; preserves EMI shielding at contacts
- Waterproof; resistant to salt water and fresh water
Applications:
- Bolts, nuts and tapped holes
- Closely mating (bedding) surfaces and dissimilar metal joints
- Marine hardware, bearings, gaskets and moving parts
