Medium strength, medium viscosity thixotropic threadlocker adhesive for metal thread sizes up to M36.
LOCTITE® 242 is a medium strength, medium viscosity, methacrylate-based threadlocking adhesive offering general purpose grades. The product provides fast fixing times of 5, 15 and 20 minutes on steel, brass and stainless steel respectively. LOCTITE 242 is thixotropic to prevent displacement after application and is designed for fasteners requiring normal disassembly with standard hand tools.
