PPG PU66 8H 5440/7005 is a gloss aluminium, two-component polyurethane topcoat of the PU66 range for internal and external protection and decoration of aircraft structures.

Typical Properties:
- Mix ratio (spray): 1 part 5440 base to 1 part 07309000 activator by volume, thin with 04919000 to viscosity
- Pot life: 8 hours at 21–25°C (70–77°F)
- Dry times (23°C, 50% RH): dust free 2 h, dry to tape 8 h, full cure 7 days
- DFT: 30–50 µm (1.2–2 mil)
- Shelf life: 24 months (base and activator)
