The mixed compound can be easily applied by brush and will not drip from overhead surfaces due to its excellent viscosity. When used with PR-1826AP Adhesion Promoter, the sealant will easily adhere to a range of aircraft materials. The cured sealant can resist temperatures ranging from -62°C (-80°F) and +149°C (+300°F), also allowing for exposure up to +216°C (+420°F).
The product provides excellent protection from aircraft fuels (aviation jet fuel or gasoline), petroleum-based fuels and deterioration by diphosphate ester-type hydraulic fluids.
