What is the difference between Diphyl, Diphyl DT and Diphyl THT?
According to the LANXESS brochure, Diphyl is a diphenyl oxide/biphenyl eutectic mixture for liquid and vapour-phase use at 13–400 °C. Diphyl DT is based on ditolyl ethers, for heating and cooling at –30–330 °C. Diphyl THT is a partially hydrogenated terphenyl for pressureless liquid-phase use at 0–345 °C.
How is the condition of fluid in service checked?
Under its Diphyl analysis programme, LANXESS tests fluid in service for a fee; a sample of about one litre from the main circuit is needed. Ask us about sampling and shipping.
