3M Polyurethane Protective Tape 8663 (data per 8663HS) is made from a polyurethane elastomer that resists punctures, tearing, abrasion, erosion and ultraviolet light. It provides a simple method of protecting a surface from corrosion, abrasion and minor impact damage, installs quickly with simple tools, and can be painted or applied over painted surfaces. It uses a long-aging, solvent-resistant, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive with an easy-release poly liner.
