EPOCAST® 1636-A/B (QT Kit)

Epocast 1636-A/B is a two-part, aluminum-filled, medium-viscosity epoxy potting compound with high strength and good high-temperature resistance.

Typical Properties:

• Mix ratio: 100 parts by weight 1636-A resin to 8 parts by weight 1636-B hardener
• Color: gray (A), dark amber (B)
• Mixed density: 1.72 g/cm³
• Gel time: 120 minutes at 77°F (25°C)
• Cure: 7 days at 77°F (25°C), or gel at 77°F then 90 minutes at 260°F or 60 minutes at 350°F
• Compressive strength: 15.0 ksi (7 days)
• Shelf life: 12 months from date of shipping
