LOCTITE Catalyst 9 is a modified aliphatic amine curing agent for epoxy resins such as LOCTITE ABLESTIK (Eccobond) systems. It is a good all-round epoxy curative giving room-temperature cure, good physical strength and chemical resistance, suited to general purpose applications.
Features
- Amber liquid; viscosity 80–100 mPa·s; density 0.99–1.01 g/cm³
- Pot life 45 minutes (100 g at 25 °C)
- Cure: 16–24 h at room temperature or 2–4 h at 65 °C
Applications
- Room-temperature curing of LOCTITE ABLESTIK epoxy resins (e.g. ABLESTIK 55)
Notes
- Cured systems can be brittle at low temperatures. Shelf life: 1 year at room temperature in unopened containers.
