3M Scotch-Weld EC-1300L is a yellow polychloroprene (neoprene) rubber and gasket adhesive with high immediate strength and heat resistance.
Features:
- Lower-viscosity version of EC-1300 for easier brushing and spraying
- Contact adhesive: bonds immediately on contact
- Bonding range up to 8 minutes after drying
Applications:
- Bonding neoprene, SBR and butyl rubber to metal, wood and plastics
- Gasket bonding
Typical Properties:
- Base: polychloroprene
- Colour: yellow
- Solvent: petroleum distillate, methyl ethyl ketone and toluene
- Viscosity: 250–1,000 cP
- Solids: 26–33% by weight
- Coverage: 2.5–3.5 g/ft² dry weight per surface
- Temperature resistance: -34°C to +149°C (-30°F to +300°F)
- Shelf life: 15 months from shipment at 60–80°F
