3M Neoprene High Performance Contact Adhesive 1357 (EC-1357) is a polychloroprene-based contact adhesive that bonds most rubber, cloth, metal, wood, foamed glass, paper honeycomb, decorative plastic laminates and many other substrates.
Features
- Long bonding range (approx. 30 minutes at 21 °C / 35% RH when applied to both surfaces)
- Excellent initial strength and high heat resistance
- Dries in about 10 minutes
- Colours: gray/green, light yellow; solids 23–27% by weight
- 180° peel adhesion (canvas to steel) up to 74 N/cm at 23 °C
- Overlap shear (birch) 3.7 MPa at 23 °C and 1.1 MPa at 107 °C after 3 weeks

- Bonding rubber, cloth, metal and wood
- Bonding paper honeycomb, foamed glass and decorative plastic laminates
- Application by spray, brush, roller or flow

Notes
- Apply at 18 °C or above; relative humidity above 50% may cause blushing. Not recommended for airless spraying.
- Shelf life: 30 months from date of manufacture at 16–27 °C.
