LOCTITE SF 7386 (known as LOCTITE 7386) is an n-heptane and isopropanol based activator designed to initiate the cure of LOCTITE toughened acrylic adhesives. It remains active on the surface for up to 6 hours after application.
Features
- Transparent yellow to light amber, very low viscosity liquid
- Fixture time ≤ 4 minutes on degreased steel with LOCTITE 330 (one side activated)
- Active on the surface for up to 6 hours
Applications
- Cure initiation of LOCTITE toughened acrylic adhesives
- Both-surface activation for large gaps (> 0.4 mm) or maximum cure speed
Notes
- Highly flammable; the solvent can affect certain plastics or coatings. Never mix activator and adhesive directly as liquids.
