Primer OP2N-1 is a complex solvent solution of a silicone resin based primer specially developed for use with CHT 1 and 2 part condensation/moisture curing RTV silicone sealants and elastomers. It improves adhesion to most plastics, natural and synthetic rubbers and composites. It is not suitable for polycarbonate and acrylic. For new applications, suitability and bond strength should be confirmed by small-scale tests.

- Flash point −3 °C; tack-free time 2 min
- Coverage approx. 15 m²/L
Use and Storage
- Surfaces must be dry and free from grease, oil, dust and release agents; solvent degrease non-porous substrates
- Apply with a lint-free cloth or brush; allow to dry at room temperature for at least the tack-free time and no longer than 2 hours before applying the sealant; do not use heat to accelerate drying
- Over-application of the primer results in poor adhesion
- 6 months at 5–25 °C
