LOCTITE® 278™ is designed for permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between tight-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It is particularly suitable for less active applications involving coated or plated surfaces and/or applications requiring temperature resistance.
