Shell Spirax S4 CX 10W (formerly Shell Donax TC 10W) is a high performance transmission and hydraulic system oil developed for the transmissions, hydraulics and wet brake systems of heavy duty construction equipment. It provides stable friction performance in systems built from metallic and non-metallic materials, minimizes clutch slippage and gives smooth, quiet braking. It is a shear stable SAE 10W grade containing no viscosity index improver. It contains additives that prevent oxidation and deposit formation, protects ferrous and non-ferrous metals against corrosion and prevents foaming. It is used in powershift and manual transmissions, wet brake systems and hydraulic systems of construction equipment.
