Castrol Brayco 599 is a synthetic-base, dark amber rust preventive concentrate for turbine engines and helicopter transmissions using MIL-PRF-23699 lubricating oil.

- Intended for high-humidity and salt-spray environments
- Limited operation of up to 25 hours permitted after addition
Applications:
- Engine and transmission preservation, added immediately after an oil change
- Dilution: 10–15% by volume for extended equipment storage; 5–10% by volume for certain component storage
