Castrol Brayco™ 885 is a diester base synthetic oil with additives that impart corrosion protection, minimize galvanic corrosion, inhibit oxidation and reduce foaming tendencies. It has exceptionally low volatility and good viscosity-temperature characteristics, and is designed to operate over the range −54 to 121 °C (−65 to 250 °F).

Use
- Aircraft instruments and electronic equipment
- Applications requiring a low evaporation rate for both high and low temperature operation, where oxidation and corrosion resistance are desirable
Compatibility
- May adversely affect certain paints and elastomers; products not developed for diester base fluids should be tested for compatibility before use
