CA8800Z is the activator component of Desothane® HS CA8800 buffable polyurethane topcoats, used to protect aircraft exteriors. CA8800 topcoats are applied over Desoprime™ epoxy primers and Desofill™ surfacers, are Skydrol® resistant and have a service temperature of −54 to 177 °C (−65 to 350 °F). They can be buffed to remove minor imperfections and offer excellent gloss, colour retention, impact and erosion resistance.
