Microbial contamination in aviation fuel can cause tank corrosion and filter blockage; biocides are used at approved dosage and according to maintenance documentation. When is a biocide used in jet fuel?
As a shock dose when microbial contamination is detected in fuel samples, or as a preventive dose where the risk is high. Product and dosage follow the aircraft and engine manufacturers' approvals.
What matters when choosing a heat transfer fluid?
Operating temperature range, whether the system is pressurised, thermal stability and compatibility with the existing fluid. The Diphyl range is designed for high-temperature applications.
What are rubber bonding resins for?
Resorcinol and phenolic resins improve adhesion between rubber and textile cord or metal in tyre and technical rubber production.
