CHT Primer No. 6 is a specially formulated, silicone based primer for use with a wide range of CHT one-part condensation/moisture curing RTV silicone sealants. It gives good adhesion to most metals and is recommended for non-porous surfaces. It is aerospace approved; its key application is Rolls-Royce MSRR1064. It is not suitable for polycarbonate and acrylic.

- Flash point 28 °C; tack free time 15 min
- Coverage approx. 15 m² per litre
Application
- Surfaces must be dry and free from grease, oil, dust and release agents; solvent degrease non-porous substrates
- Apply thinly with a lint-free cloth or brush; allow to dry at room temperature for at least the tack free time before applying the sealant, and no longer than 2 hours
- Do not apply heat to accelerate drying; over-application results in poor adhesion
