JAN EX 85704 TYPE I is a concentrated liquid cleaning compound for the turbine engine gas path. It removes oil, salt and solid deposits from compressor blades, guide vanes and rotors of in-service jet engines.
Compressor washing is a preventive maintenance method that reduces sludge and buildup in aircraft and other turbine engine machinery.
Use
- Mix 1 part JAN EX 85704 TYPE I with 4 parts distilled or demineralized water.
- Wear gloves and a mask during cleaning. Ventilate continuously when working in a closed area.
Storage and packaging
- Store tightly closed in the original container in a cool, dry place.
