Hernon® Cylinlock 822 is a high-performance, single-component, 100% active anaerobic adhesive/sealant formulated for dependable bonding of fitted cylindrical parts. It cures at room temperature, offering high strength with superior heat and chemical resistance, and is formulated for applications that require temperature resistance up to 149 °C (300 °F).

- Each batch is tested to the lot requirements of MIL-R-46082B (Type I) and the detail requirements of ASTM D5363 (AN0411)
Typical Applications
- Retaining pins, sleeves, gears, wheels, rotors, pulleys and fans on shafts; retaining keys in worn keyways
- Mounting bearings, bushings, sleeves and plugs in housings

Use and Storage
- Clean surfaces with Hernon cleaning solvent; use EF Primer 49 or 50 on inactive metals or when cure is too slow
- For disassembly heat to at least 260 °C (500 °F); remove cured residue with Hernon Gasket Remover 30
- Not normally recommended for plastics (especially thermoplastics); not for pure oxygen systems
- 7–29 °C (45–85 °F) in unopened containers
