PPG DeSoto 521X315 is a chemically cured, hydraulic fluid resistant epoxy topcoat in FED-STD 17925 white, designed for use over Super Koropon® epoxy primer. Service temperature is −54 to 177 °C. It is qualified to 207-9-472, GMS 5002 and GAMPS 3205.
Mixing and Application
- Mix: 521X315 base 4 : 910-037 activator 1 : 020-004 thinner 2
- Induction time 70, 60 or 50 min depending on temperature; pot life 8 hours
- Dry film thickness 50–75 µm; theoretical coverage 11 m²/L
Typical Properties
- Gloss 90 and above; dry to tape 6 hours
- VOC 600 g/L
