DOWSIL™ 730 FS Solvent Resistant Sealant is a one-component, solventless, non-slumping fluorosilicone rubber paste that reacts with moisture in the air to form a tough, rubbery solid. It uses an acetoxy cure system. It is used for bonding, sealing and caulking where resistance to the swelling effects of fuels, oils and solvents is needed, for assembling and repairing fuel systems and tanks, and for formed-in-place gaskets. It resists weathering, vibration, moisture, ozone and temperature extremes and stays flexible from −65 to 260 °C. It can be applied overhead or on vertical surfaces without sagging.
Typical Properties (cured 7 days at 23 °C, 50% RH)
