Hernon® Activator 15 is a solvent-free, amine-based activator designed for use with Hernon® ReAct 727, ReAct 784 and Fusionbond 374 adhesives. It can be applied up to 2 hours before bonding or used immediately.

Typical Performance (with Fusionbond 374)
- Fixture time: grit-blasted steel ≤10 min, aluminium 2–3 min, ABS ≤6 min
- Lap shear (ASTM D1002, 24 h RT): G/B steel ≥20.7 N/mm² (3000 psi), G/B aluminium ≥17.2 N/mm² (2500 psi)
- Block shear (ASTM D4501): acrylic ≥1000 psi; ABS, epoxy glass, polycarbonate, PVC ≥500 psi
Directions for Use
- Apply a thin layer of activator to one surface and the adhesive to the other
- Join parts within 2 hours of applying the activator; maintain pressure until handling strength
- Allow 24 hours for full cure
