Hernon® Activator 56 is a single-component, non-CFC, solvent-based activator that increases the cure speed of Hernon® anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It is especially recommended for passive metals, inert surfaces and large gaps.

- Chemical type: aldehyde-amine condensate; solvent: acetone
- Appearance: light yellow liquid; specific gravity at 25 °C: 0.81
- Drying time: approx. 3 minutes; on-part life: 2 hours

- Fixture time: ReAct 727 and ReAct 767 approx. 25 seconds
- Shear strength after 24 h (ASTM D1002): ReAct 727 2500–3500 psi, ReAct 767 1500–2500 psi
Directions for Use
- Spray or brush onto one or both mating surfaces; contaminated surfaces may need degreasing first
- Never mix the activator and adhesive directly as liquids
Notes
- Highly flammable; when dispensing from a pressurised system use only nitrogen or argon
- Not recommended for pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems
