ELASTOSIL AUX G 3243 is an adhesion promoter between silicone elastomers and metallic or non-metallic substrates. It is a ready-to-use solution of reactive silanes and siloxanes in an organic solvent mixture; on evaporation and exposure to atmospheric moisture it forms a primer coating that firmly adheres to the substrate, and subsequent vulcanisation of silicone rubber produces a tight bond.

Applications
- Bonding HTV silicone rubber (ELASTOSIL R) to metals and non-metallic substrates
Notes
- Apply silicone rubber ideally within 5 hours of priming, and no later than 2 days. Adhesion trials are necessary.
- Moisture sensitive: keep containers well sealed in a cool, dry place.
