Hernon® Fusionbond 374 is a 100% solids, room temperature curing, versatile structural adhesive used with Hernon Activator 56, 15 or 16 as a two-component, no-mix system. It forms high strength, high impact resistant bonds within minutes and offers good temperature and chemical resistance. It bonds metals, plastics, composites, ceramics, glass, wood, leather, rubber and marble; it is halogen free and has no pot life. It suits production and repair applications.
Typical Properties
- Methacrylate ester; viscosity 35,000–50,000 cP; specific gravity 0.95
- Ratio of use approximately 10:1 (adhesive : initiator)
- Fixture time (22 °C): steel 4–6 min, aluminium 2–5 min, ABS 3–5 min
- Shear strength (grit-blasted steel, 24 hours) 3000–4000 psi; aluminium 2500–4000 psi
- Impact strength (steel, 24 hours) at least 30 J

- Store at −18 to 29 °C in a cool, dry place in unopened containers
