LOCTITE 84 (known as LOCTITE 084) is a one-component, low-viscosity, medium-strength anaerobic threadlocker (dimethacrylate ester) used to lock and seal fine-threaded nuts, bolts and studs where removal with ordinary hand tools is necessary.
Features
- Blue liquid, fluorescent under UV light
- Viscosity 10–25 mPa·s
- Breakaway torque 6 N·m after 24 h at 22 °C (3/8 x 24 steel nuts and bolts)
- Retains strength after 300 h in motor oil, phosphate ester, water and glycol at 93 °C
- Removable with standard hand tools

- Locking and sealing fine-threaded nuts, bolts and studs
- Pre-assembled threaded parts with through holes (wicking application)
