LOCTITE® GRD B™ (LOCTITE® 085™) is a medium strength, one-component, anaerobic threadlocker used to lock and seal fine threaded nuts, bolts and studs where removal with ordinary hand tools is necessary. It is a yellow, medium viscosity dimethacrylate ester liquid that fluoresces under UV light. It is also used for mounting bearings, bushings and other shaft related applications. It is tested to the lot requirements of Mil-S-22473E (regional approval); each lot produced in North America is tested to the requirements of ASTM D5363.

- Dielectric breakdown strength 9.8 kV/mm
Resistance (300 hours at 93 °C, % of initial strength)
- Motor oil and phosphate ester 100%; water and ethylene glycol 110%
Use and Storage
- Remove with standard hand tools; if needed, heat the fastener to about 250 °C
- Not recommended for pure oxygen or oxygen rich systems
- Store at 8–21 °C in a dry location in unopened containers
