LOCTITE SF 7414 (also known as LOCTITE 7414) is a fast-drying, solvent-based paste used to visually detect any movement in the adjustment of parts. Applied to compression fittings, studs, nuts, parts and assemblies after they have been set to proper tension or position, it lets service personnel and inspectors quickly spot changes or tampering.

- Blue, high-viscosity paste
- Surface dry in 60–120 seconds
- Excellent adhesion to aluminium, magnesium, titanium, stainless steel and copper; non-corrosive to these metals
- Operating temperature -35 °C to +145 °C
Applications
- Tamper-proofing of compression fittings, studs and nuts
- Marking of parts and assemblies after torque or position setting
Notes
- Apply at 15–25 °C; higher temperatures reduce drying time.
- Not recommended for pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems, or with chlorine or other strong oxidising materials.
