LOCTITE SF 7471 is a solvent-based (acetone/isopropanol) activator used where increased cure speed of LOCTITE anaerobic products is required. It is especially recommended for passive metals or inert surfaces and for large bond gaps.
Features
- Transparent, yellow to amber, very low viscosity liquid
- Drying time 30–70 seconds at 20 °C
- On-part life up to 7 days
- Amine and thiazole chemistry
Applications
- Cure acceleration of LOCTITE threadlockers, retainers and gasketing products
- Passive metals, inert surfaces and large bond gaps
Notes
- Fixture time and cure speed depend on the adhesive used and the substrate bonded.
