Loctite SF 770 is a primer that makes polyolefins and other low-energy surfaces suitable for bonding with Loctite cyanoacrylate adhesives.
Features:
- Aliphatic amine in isopropyl acetate solvent
- Very low viscosity; fluoresces under UV light
- Not recommended for assemblies requiring high peel strength
Applications:
- Priming polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE and thermoplastic rubber before cyanoacrylate bonding
Typical Properties:
- Appearance: transparent to slightly hazy liquid
- Specific gravity at 23°C: 0.87
- Drying time: 8–9 seconds
- On-part life: 8 hours
