Zip-Chem® Aero-Lube D-5263NS is an aerosol aircraft cable lubricant and rust preventive. It is a general purpose, low temperature, water displacing preservative oil made from a blend of oils that conform to MIL-PRF-32033 (formerly VV-L-800). It protects internal applications for up to 6 months and maximizes the life of aircraft cables. It is used on cargo door hinges and door cables, for pylon bearing cleaning prior to lubrication, and on small guns and precision machine parts. It can be used with Formit® extensions for targeted spraying of hard-to-reach areas; the bulk version is ZC-5263.
