Zip-Chem® Aero-Lube D-5460NS is a resin-bonded aerosol dry film lubricant of molybdenum disulfide powder dispersed in a thermoplastic resin; it is zero ozone depleting. It air dries in 5–10 minutes and forms a thin but durable, abrasion resistant coating effective up to 350 °C. It is an extreme pressure lubricant with excellent high temperature stability and good surface adhesion. It is used as a break-in lubricant, rubber anti-seize and gasket coating. Applications include flap track fairings, elevator bus support system parts, and fan rotor assembly and fan reverser pre-cooler duct seal lubrication. The bulk version is ZC-460.
