Zip-Chem® Aero-Lube ZC-5261 is a cleaner, lubricant and penetrant made with a special oil formulation that conforms to MIL-PRF-7870D. It penetrates tight parts such as the heart strands of cables and deposits a rust preventive lubricating film. It offers excellent resistance to oxidation, protects metals against rust and corrosion and limits galvanic corrosion, especially on dissimilar metal assemblies. It is used on aircraft flight controls, engine parts, landing gear cables, pulleys, pressure seals, cargo hoist cables, cargo restraining system components, door interlock actuating mechanisms, slide mechanisms, hinges and static joints. An aerosol version is available as D-5261NS.
