Castrol Brayco™ 717 is a straw coloured, medium viscosity power transmission (hydraulic) fluid. Highly refined petroleum base stocks and additives give oxidation and corrosion resistance, anti-wear properties and a high viscosity index. It is designed for hydraulic power transmission in naval ordnance equipment and protects against corrosion in the presence of salt water and spray. Operating temperature is −40 to 122 °C. It meets MIL-DTL-17111E; NATO code H-575.
