MOLYKOTE TP-42 Paste is a light-coloured, adhesive grease-paste with solid lubricants for metallic friction combinations. It is based on mineral and synthetic oil with lithium soap, solid lubricants and an adhesion improver, and is recommended by leading clamping-element manufacturers, especially for chucks on metal processing machines.

- High load-carrying capacity; four-ball weld load 3,000 N (DIN 51350)
- Particularly adhesive and resistant to washout by water and machining emulsions
- Prevents stick-slip; excellent protection against galling
- Good corrosion protection (SKF-Emcor 0-1)
- Service temperature -25 °C to +250 °C (thermal stability of solid lubricant)
- No intentional PTFE or PFAS
Applications
- Sliding surfaces under high pressure exposed to water or machining emulsions
- Chucks and clamping elements on metal processing machines
Notes
- Clean sliding surfaces before application; do not mix with other greases or oils.
- Usable life: 60 months from production when stored at or below 20 °C.
