ROCOL® Chainguard Hi-Load Spray is a high performance chain and conveyor lubricant with molybdenum disulphide (MoS₂). It penetrates well into the links and pins of the chain, leaves a tenacious water resistant film that protects all types of chains in wet or humid environments and gives corrosion protection in hostile environments. Its dewatering performance allows application to damp or wet chains, and the film has good adhesion, reducing dripping and throw off. It was developed in particular for forklift truck chains and is used on all types of chain and conveyor applications in industry, including heavy duty and hostile environments.

- Grey liquid; mineral oil base; non-chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent; propellant CO₂
- Temperature range −30 to 180 °C; base fluid viscosity 48 cSt at 40 °C, 5.8 cSt at 100 °C
- Four-ball weld load 250 kg; salt spray (ASTM B117, 200 hours, 35 °C) no corrosion
Use, Storage and Packaging
- Shake well to disperse the MoS₂ particles; hold the can upright and apply from 15–30 cm, covering the chain thoroughly
- Store below 50 °C out of direct sunlight; 4 years from date of manufacture
